the desperate housewives
Have been watching desperate housewives lately... Did not want to watch it at first, thought it'll probably be like Sex and the City, some kinda shallow shows (ermm....though i din watch Sex and the City =P), but i'm glad my bro forced me to! It's a great great great show...... Only at epi 5 (out of 23...OH MAN!!) now. Think can finish by this week...muaahhhaaa....
there's this neighbour in the show who is super kpo but appears to be helpful and friendly...she reminded me of an ang moh auntie i met on the train from belgium to london. We wanted to change seat for one friend 'cos her seat was at the other cabin and one nice girl who was travelling alone agreed. Then this auntie suddenly appear from nowhere...
Auntie: hi, just something for you to note. when the conductor (i forgot what noun she used) ask for your ticket, tell him you change your seat
Nice girl: nah...i don't think there will be conductors on eurostar
(she's right k....'cos we have to get pass the customs to board eurostar...ever see plane conductors punching ur air tix??)
Auntie: oh no....there is...sometimes....
Us: yah...probably you should mention that to him. it'll be good to let him know.
Nice girl: yea...think i should (then to the auntie) thanks
Us: (smiling fakely and oso to the auntie) thank you
Auntie: (smile widely) just want to remind you girls
*pause pause* very weird pause leh....somehow like we 3 friends who know each other more than 10 years can read what one another's minds are processing (the 4th friend already at the other cabin), and we are all thinking the same thing: KPO!!! i mean singaporean just mind their own biz that's y we can't really get used to this kinda friendliness.... BUT somebody has to press the play button!! cannot keep pausing right......so i piak piak! break the ice...
Me: that auntie seems quite nice hor....reminded us about the tix thingy (obviously i'm faking lah k!)
Friends: hmm...yah.... (and obviously they are faking too!!)
apparently we want to get that kpo word out of our tired brains....we are already quite pissed with the jap uncle (we asked him to change seat with us before asking that girl....'cos his location is just in line with 3 of us) who refused to change seat with us...can't he be more gentleman??
3+ hours later....reaching london soon....
Auntie: (turned to a mother diagonally behind her who is desperately tendingly her noisy bb) u need a tissue?
Mother: Sorry?
Auntie: oh i thought i heard you said you need a tissue
Mother: oh it's okay...i found mine
Auntie: no no...you take it. i can buy a pack at the store. you need it, you can take it.
Mother: it's really ok 'cos i have a pack here
Auntie: you may need more, dun worry about me
Mother: o thank you....
Wah....that auntie has sharp ears wor..... are the neighbour and the auntie kpo or are they helpful?? really 一线只差...
---------------something else....while waiting---------------
This neighbour had also tried to blackmail one of the housewives 'cos that housewife accidentally set a slut's (aiyah...demure girl shouldn't use this word but they called her that in the show) house on fire then later sneaked into the neighbour's house to steal something.... The neighbour thinks the housewife is the baddie and the housewife think the neighbour is a baddie.... Again a bit 一线只差 right....or rather a matter of perspective?
Actually i realised this when i was taking an ethics module from nus....and when i was watching digimon years ago.....the kids thought that the 'bad' digimon was destroying the digimon world and the 'bad' digimon thought the kids were obstracting their plans in improving the digimon world... a bit like wat the jap emperor thinks during WWII wor...jialat...i've been thinking too much about WWII lately...
---------------finally....that's all---------------
P/S: does this suddenly REMINDS you....Jun is not just demure, stingy, cheapo, likes free stuff...she can be philosophical oso?
P/S/S: i'm not faking good ang moh there k...(irregardless of the no. of grammer errors i made)... the ppl on the train are English so they speak correct english and i'm trying my best to recall how their correct english sounds like....
[sub P/S/S: they really like to add in the "oh"...not like i'm a oh-addict... They oso like to use words like 'brilliant', 'ashamed'.]
P/S/S/S: uh oh...think the pics take a bit long to load leh.... i remove the song first k...dun mind yah....
Yea....finally done with my files transferring....going back to it now!
