Europe Photos (I)

Yea! Finally got all photos from my friend! Can show u all already....hee...

Day 1
On Finnair flight...nothing much...haa... Finnair actually quite good leh, a lot of leg space...good for long distance flight. But the food...hmm....so-so only ah. Cabin crew....hmm....so-so only ah. Entertainment sux!! Super small tv....shared tv k. It's not individual one... Better than nothing lah...watched racing stripes, in good company, the simpsons and haa...donald duck...

Day 2
Transit at Finland. Their airport very very quiet leh. Not as busy as Singapore. The small plane from Finland to Zurich has good food...very good food...*drool drool*

Upon reaching Zurich, we set off to Germany first to see the Black Forest and Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Ta dah! This is the Rhine Falls, the widest waterfall in Europe

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This is the little town where we had Chinese lunch. The Chinese food there was surprisingly good. I was expecting some yucky Chinese food 'cos thought they most likely will taste very ang-moh-ish, but no leh...they are better than the Western dinner we had at hotel that evening. Behind is the Black Forest....they are just darker pine trees lah. Black Forest's Wood are the best material for making Cuckoo Clocks, so there was a big cuckoo clock shop.....

Besides Cuckoo CLock, they also have high tech clocks wor! The message above can change leh...they have light...or is it laser...it shines up to this stick which moves so super quickly till it forms some kinda fan shaped space for the message to be displayed.

Then we went to Lucerne....one of my fav! Stayed in Hotel Flora...small room, but quite cosy. The hotels we stayed are not as bad as what the internet reviews had said....heng ah!

Day 3
Went Bucherer shopping early in the morning....Burchere is something like the DFS in Singapore. And they give out free spoons at different city! muaaahhhaaa...i like free stuff!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Bucherer is near this famous Old Chapel Bridge. The mountain behind is Mt Piliatus (according to my friend who actualy went there and stayed on the mountain...wow...)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Then we went to this Lion Monument....it's a seriously injured lion. Last time Switzerland and France very buddy buddy, so Switzerland sent 720 super high post officers over to protect the French King during French revolution. The lion was to commemorate the 720 officers who all died.

Lake Lucerne (and my friend, Yijun)

Went up to Mt Titisee. It is the 4th most famous Alps in Switzerland, 3000m high at where we stood. It was raining on our way there, so it was snowing (or ice-ing...) when we reached the top. Super cold there...wrapped up like a big dumpling, but ok lah...we very sua gu, see this kinda thing super excited and forgot that it was damn cold there...

Then we went cheese factory. On the way from cheese factory to interlaken, somebody puked in the bus! Poor teamleader and the driver had to clean the bus 'cos it stink so bad....and the aunties thought somebody bought cheese and went around asking....think the girl who puked sure very malu. Anyway, we had fun while the 2 men bz cleaning...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
...and tried to feed the little meh mehs....muaaahhhaaa... But apparently they 不领情 and we had to finish all by ourselves...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Took pic with our driver. Nice man with pretty blue eyes. (but my mum complained he's too short for a french guy....watever...his eyes are beautiful).

Reached Interlaken that evening....another fav! ok lah...i just like Switzerland lah...hoo.... By the time we reached, it's already raining lightly....really lightly leh...thinner than thread i think. Walked in the rain, but can't see my clothes getting 0.01% wet leh...weird sia. Had to settle dinner somewhere and our 色色 team leader (also tour guide for Switzerland) recommended us Hooters 'cos the girls there damn hot.... We also lazy to find lah....so we settled for Hooters.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

There was a big flea market there...think it's permanently there lah...not so sure...and there were some uncles there play monster chess. Big right....and they really 悠哉闲哉. Good life!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Berne is quite interesting wor.... one side is quite modern, the other side is the old town. According to the team leader, we can look at the roads to differentiate which is old town and which is new.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Had traditional swiss fondue for dinner. 3 types of fondue for us....cheese, meat and chocolate fondue....and i dun like fondue! Prefer chinese steamboat...haa.... Forgot to mention our lunch right....we had Kong Guan biscuit from Singapore. So pathetic right....trying to cut cost and my friend's bf family business is Kong Guan....just 随便 eat eat lah.

Berne also has a popular bear pit, but there wasn't any bears when we went there....worse than Singapore Mandai.

My friend was not feeling well so left Eiffel early, but then still missed the last train back to hotel (but it was only 12+am....) and I din bring out the hotel address...too blur liao...
