Some major changes.....

Actually only 2 changes lah...hee...

Did I mention I made silly mistakes in my resume? I wrote I started working as temp since 1994 and I got my degree from Institute of Engineers, Singapore. It's all copy and paste fault....basically my fault. Din get a single interview for 1 whole month after I was back from the Europe trip and this was super demoralising wor. Fortunately, my small sharp eyes found the mistake before year 2005 ends, and managed to go for quite a few interviews.

I was feeling quite confident after 3 interviews early last last week (includ. this one) and the thought of leaving my temp job was really a teeny weeny bit bit sad wor... Although my frequency and theirs dun really ermm...match, it was quite fun working there. Can talk crap with the customers (and seriously, they dun mind...in fact they crapped more than me), can eavedrop on my colleagues' jokes...muaahhaaa.... Anyway...back to where i was.... Last week, a Tuas company offered me a job as Product Controller. Everything about the job was okay...just the location and the pay. And worse, my router broke down when I wanna do research on the company before interview, so bascially I knew nuts about the company when I went for interview and when they offered me the position. Though my friends helped me find out more about it via internet (can't use internet at the temp job there....boo....), slow me could not get a clear idea. I only know the 2 security uncles at the main gate there are so damn funny... Anyway, the company wanted me to give them a confirmation before 5pm and I really super dilemma man.... No mood for lunch break, my supervisor asked me if i'm okay when she saw me, i could not concentrate on the phone....really dunno whether I should just take up a job or not since I'm kinda under stress and desperate liao. But there were other interviews which I was quite satisfied with my performances.... At 4.30pm, I gave one of the companies a call.....they just ended their meeting and they had decided to take me in! And this company is the one I have most interest in! Yea~~

First annoucement: I've found a job! Finally!!! After so many months of searching and mass emailing, I've got myself a Clinical Sales Representative position. And I would like to thank BROTHER CHEN!!!!!!!! For helping me so much in my 2nd interview. The 2nd round was really a headache. They asked me to come up with a product launch plan and a weekly sales plan. I have no experience in sales, marketing and need to work as temp at odd hours somemore..no time to prepare all these so have to stay up till 3am almost everyday that week to prepare for the 2 plans wor. Fortunately, my bro gave me some ideas and feedback which turned out to be very useful!! Thanks ah....BBQ seafood when u come back. Let's just go Whampoa eat k...budget budget!!

XXX bank called me for a Senior officer post interview and there was another job offer as Executive Purchasing (shopping!!!!) at one of the companies in Millennium Tower, but too late liao...I've already verbally agreed to take up the CSR job. Just went to sign the agreement this morning. Will be working in science park from Monday onwards. Hopefully I din make the wrong choice. Cross fingers.

My neighbour's (2 houses away from me....heng ah...) maid who has been working for them for almost 20 years passed away. Saw a police car and ambulence outside their house one morning. Then few hours later, a black police van came....dunno what's that call but my mummy said that vehicle is for corpse (xia mi?!?!). Nobody knows what happened until 2 days later, my maid told my father that the maid fell down in the loo....i mean toilet...and died. Wah. Serious fall wor. I suddenly felt like I'm staying at Wisteria Lane (that desperate housewives' town)....the neighbours seldom interact, but there's not secret here.......oooo....

Second annoucement: Dear girls! Congratulations!! I'm moving nearer to you!! muaahhhaaa~

I'm moving to Seng Kang next year...finally leaving Geylang after 20+ years. Will miss the rowdiness here...the food...the mamashop...the rats and cockroach...the super messy traffic...the Banglaz...the chee kor uncles...the skimpily dressed girls/aunties. Need to get used to the northeast air and water, the transport (expensive Northeast line....dammit)...so many and many. The good thing is Seng Kang is not one of the many dengue black zones, Geylang is! Also, I'm staying opposite Compasspoint, so should be quite convenient hor. Will miss Geylang!!

Was on the MRT going from Sommerset to Orchard. The driver really kok up leh...he played the "City Hall Interchange" announcement. Then there was a slight pause...........................and everyone started laughing! Really is laugh leh! 原来 Singaporeans lost their weird sense of humour and gained weird sense of 默契！But it was triggered off by some aunties... Anyway, this kinda brighten up my day with everyone changed from emotionless to having one BIG smile on each and every face. Interesting hor...
