Went Taiwai for 1 week training. Had fun...maximum window shopping, minimum actual shopping 'cos my toopid colleague limited me to 3 shops everytime we went shopping...?! We din have enough time anyway...our training ended at 5+ everday, back to hotel at 6 and finished group dinner at 8, so we normally only had 2 hours to travel and look around. Somemore Taipei rained 3 out of the 7 days when i was there...so gimme face wor.


My hotel...looks nice hor, but I dun really like it. It is more like service apartment and so much more expensive...and the service....alamak.


It was almost 30 degree C on the first day. But when it started raining...the temperate *BOOM* drop to slightly over 10. Even the Taiwanese thought the weather was like Taiwan winter. Luckily smart me brought jacket...


If only Singapore has this too. It tells people how many parking lots there are at nearby car parks.

Huge KTV. Din get a chance to try it 'cos only me and my another colleague speaks Chinese there and he doesn't want to sing KTV, so the Taiwanese thought the group is too small to have fun at KTV. Xia mi lah?!

The elevator is nice. The elevator girl (电梯小姐) there is even nicer. *drool*





The ticket going up comes with ice cream discount.....had mango sorbet while watching all these night scenerary. Shiok wor!

Went there as part of our half day group activity....no link right? anyway, it's really just so-so...but much better than the idea of going hot spring. The organising team wanted to bring us to hot spring where we have to go in the pool naked. That is freaking weird!! at least for the Americans and Singaporeans... Heng the Koreans are so used to going hot spring that they are not interested in doing this in Taiwan, so they changed the plan to go to this museum......ermm.....

臭豆腐 a.k.a. Stinky Tou Fu by the Americans is really stinky!! It's terrible man....the smell just rush up from my throat to my nose like wasabi like that. I would never want to try that EVER again. Americans described the smell as stinky feet and they felt like they were chewing on a sponge. kao....


pai seh...i missed milo too much. But it doesn't taste like milo....not even a single bit... Just thought the design of the straw is quite innovative. i'm a sua gu hor...

Wah...huge poster. And you thought the Taiwanese are crazy about world cup....nonono...wait till you see Korea. Taiwan is more into baseball.

It was Taipei University graduation period and many students left messenges for their schoolmates outside their school. Good idea hor....how come our uni dun have that? Oh yah, we are more high tech. We send messenges via email and they appear during our commencement ceremony.
