US-Japan Trip Part I
yoo yoo....just back to Singapore. Thought of getting out of Singapore to avoid the strong mid year sun, but didn't expect other countries are equally warm....or even hotter.
Went US first for meetings. Nothing much there 'cos it's really for work. Went factory outlet, had some american style tasteless food and went Orlando Seaworld. Other than this, it was just hot and tiring.

Mexican food. Had it at Los Angeles Airport during transit and it tasted HORRIBLE.

Hotel room in Orlando...nice sia... But surprisingly, no toothbrush and toothpaste

The TV is super hi tech leh. Besides having remote control, I can also use the keyboard to control...wah~~

Views from hotel room...

One of the main meetings. This is an annual event, so it was quite big scale...normally we are not so extravagant.
Then we went to Seaworld for half a day....on a rare stormy summer evening. All of us had to wear raincoat to roam in the park. Only the next day then we know 2 people and some houses were struck by lightning....scary...

Went to watch the Killer Whale

Huge....

After the US meeting, I took leave and went to Japan straight with my friend. I was not easy to upload the pics as I need to hide my friend's identity...
Anyway, I only went Tokyo, Yokohama and Hakone in 1 week. Didn't even have enough time in Tokyo, so not to mention going to other big cities like Osaka and Kyoto.
In Tokyo...

My accommodation. Again, I stayed in hostel. No money lah.... This is hostel #1.

Hostel #2. Same boss. No room in hostel #1, bo bian... This is a newer one, but not as accessible as #1.

The room is super small. Luckily both my friend and I are not overweight. We have no space to walk after laying down our luggage. Room looks messy.....'cos really no space ah.....

View from hostel #1 rooftop. It is located at Asakusa, opposite Asahi Beer Brewery (that odd looking building).

I like Japan toilet bowls....haa....

...and their basin! One is wash, another one is soap and the bottom one is blow dry. All in 1! But these are taken in shopping malls, not in hostel. Hostel where got so class, it's less than SGD 30 per person per night in Tokyo leh! Super cheap...

JR Train. 好贴心wor...they not only have 女性专用cabin, they even have 弱冷 (less cold) cabin!

But this is no 贴心. 害人的cigarette vending machine.

My 战利品!!! Hey bro...2 tees are for you. Not 1, but 2 k!
Neoprint taken at Harajuku, only cost 200 Yen (SGD 2.50)!!!
*Warning: Overly act cute poses may cause discomfort =P

~*Tokyo Food*~

The 1st Ramen I had in Tokyo....taste bad! Soup tastes too salty and the meat has a stinky smell...puke puke...

蜡笔小新snack

Crepe menu at Tokyo Tower....wah~

We wanted something salty 'cos we tried sweet crepes before so tadah! Egg with curry crepe. Sounds odd, but it actually tastes good!

Set meal at Tokyo Tower, cost 750 Yen (SGD 9.40). Very worth...super filling.

We of course tried 旋转sushi. See this "牡丹海老" sushi. Shiok right!! 150 Yen for this plate.

Had a miso soup. Didn't expect it to be sooo big bowl...it is really very good.
The first shop was so good, so we wanted to try another similar shop that night. This time even cheaper. They advertised outside the shop as "as cheap as 130 Yen".

This shop is weird. 2 levels of coveyor belts....how to see the top one?? And we got cheated. Only 1 type of sushi is 105 Yen, the rest are all 160 Yen onwards. And their fish looks dry and not appetising at all. Lousy....
Few days later, we went to the 3rd shop which is near to our hostel and suppose to be quite popular. Though it cost 130 Yen per plate, this one is much much better...

See! So thick! Yummy~

We also tried the burgers in Japan. Freshness is suppose to be as good or even better than Mos Burger so here it is...

Looks similar, but it actually is better than Mos...really...

BBQ Octopus at Hakone

Baskin Robbins ice cream on offer at 360 Yen. Though still a bit ex, it is already almost 40% discount from usual price!

Mickey plain waffle at Disneyland

"Queue number" at Tokyo foodcourt. Don't need to physically queue. The device will vibrate when is my turn....so advance wor...

Looks good right...

One of our meals. A quick sushi meal at Ronppongi.

Last meal in Japan...MacDonalds!

Tried their Ebi burger....yum yum!
~*Tokyo People*~
They really is 敢敢 dress up themselves and 敢敢 express themselves...

A group of teenages dancing at Aikihabara, not sure for what, but the passerby near us (on extreme right) is HOT.

still dancing away...
We went to Harajuku on Sunday to see the teenages in cosplay costumes and they didn't disappoint us...
After watching the creative teenagers, we went to Omote-Sando (similar to our Orchard Road). And we saw a big group of crazy fans.
It looks like a Jap star just had his hair cut at Amebo Studio and was spotted. The fans crowded along the road when he was about to leave.
Idol was drove away in a car and he turned to wave at me......i mean the fans. Can't recognise who he is, but he really is 帅到....
To be continued......
