Bad Customer Service in Singapore

I last blogged bad customer service in Singapore in Jan 2005 and now I wanna complain again...

Have been experiencing all the crappy customer services recently...

Just mention a few...

1. At 翡翠...

having lunch with my colleagues. I had a bowl of plain soup noodle. When I finished my noodles and still enjoying the soup with other dishes which I was sharing with the rest, the waitress came and wanted to collect back the bowl without asking me.

Me: ehhhh, 不要收先
Waitress: (put back the bowl) 很好喝meh?

Xia mi?! Got this kinda thing ah? Waitress questioning how nice their own food is....

2. At SK G2000...

trying out pants and asked for a smaller size from staff A when she walked past me. Then staff B happened to walk past at the same time, talk dunno what to A and A answered "没有了". Both me and my bro thought A was talking to B. So I waited outside the changing room while my bro was still browsing the clothes.

A came back and told me, "没有了. 刚才不是跟你讲了loh." Aiyoh, who the h*** knows who she's talking to. She din even gimme the most basic eye contact.

3. Still at SK G2000...

Now is B's turn...sigh... Me, my bro and his gf were checking other design for smaller size, and one of us proposed to ask staff B who is approaching about the size of a new design. Before we can open our mouth, staff B super chop chop, "这个最后了" then super chop chop hang the clothes and walked away.

Simi lah....is that too efficient or bad service??

My bro said that was because we dressed sloppily. C'mon, it's only 3 min from my house, how glam they want me to dress??

Then now he suggested that we should write a complain letter, but i think no use lah 'cos I saw this email this morning....

Hi Friends

Please read the emails exchanged between myself and Carrefour. It is very disappointing to know that they give their usual msg to their customers' feedbacks. What is worse they even forwarded their internal emails for me to read

This is an excellent example of what not to do.

Please forward this email to your friends for their reading.

Thomas

Subject: Poor customer service at Carrefour

Dear Sir/Mdm

I was at Carrefour-Suntec City - on the night of 15/10/2006 to buy thefollowing items, a laptop, a fax machine, a DVD recorder and a roadbike. I left with only the laptop and the DVD recorder. I did not buy the roadbike because the staff serving me
could not tell me the difference between a $900 bike and a $300 bike except that they were both had aluminium frame. I did not buy the fax machine because no one bother to serve me despite standing at the fax machine section for 15 mins. I approached a staff at the adjacent section selling telephone but all he told me was the staff selling fax machine is not around and did not offer any assistance.

On the 21/10/06 I returned to Carrefour - Suntec City - to get a refundfor the laptop as I had discovered that the laptop only supported Windows XP and could not be used to run my DOS programme. The salesman who sold me the laptop 6 days earlier was very unhappy and refuses a refund of the laptop citing various lame excuses. He finally agree to a refund after I went through Carrefour's refund
policy with him. At this point he make a photocopy of my identity card claiming
the company's need to track my refund history. I was outrage and disappointed at
being treated like a criminal and asked for the duty manager. The duty manager arrived and agreed that it was not Carrefour's policy to make photocopyof customer's IC but he was no better than the salesman for he wanted to take down
my particular's instead.

I am very disappointed with the Carrefour's staff, from the lack of product knowledge to the lack of service and finally to their staff's attitude of negating on the company's promise of a refund if goods were returned intact. They should not bother to track my refund history as I will not be shopping there anymore.

Dr. Lee Boon Kok

See. Complaining is no use lah. Waiting 15 min for a Carrefour staff to approach customer is a norm too...not surprising at all.

Pai seh ah, the mood is just right for all these....hee...

Looking forward to the steamboat on Monday night. Let's get fat together.

Guess where is this...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Yupyup, it's Vietnam. Too easy huh...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
They have pink roof house....and LOTSA motorbikes. The most # of ppl on a bike I've seen so far is 5 - Daddy, Mummy and 3 kids. Free live circus show.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Unlike last time in Renaissance, I stayed in Sheraton Saigon. Really beautiful hotel. Good service and breakfast too.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
And their shower room. Wah seh....3 shower heads can blast all the dirt away. Dun even need to use make up remover also can wash off everything.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
View outside my room. It's rainy season over there too.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
And again, I was there for work. Evidence here k...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Having lunch with my distributors....on the floor of their office. I'm very gan hor one, can ride motorbike there with my distributor and have lunch anywhere. In fact, this was the best meal I had in HCMC.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
And I also went on this ship (I cheated, took this from a poster)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
where beautiful Vietnam ladies in sailor suits stand in line to welcome the guests.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
My view from my seat. Super duper windy till I almost froze.

My father who happened to be there too brought me on the ship. Interesting ride.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
View of another ship. The design is so lame leh....suddenly feel like eating curry fish head.

Then when I was trying to take the night scenery, I sneezed...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
and ended up with an artistic picture! at least in my opinion...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
so I started playing with it.... I know I also very lame, that's why put all so small

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
See this boat....aiyoh, almost sinking from the weight of the sand. They are bringing the sand to the other side of the Mekong River.

ICQ...those were the dayz

One fine evening on my way home via the boring NEL, i somehow remember I used to have an ICQ account. And I still remember the ICQ#. But I can't remember who are the fortunate ones on my list..

Out of curiosity, i launched web based ICQ to refresh my memory. Password is pretty easy...seems like I have been using the same password for everything.

My dear NUS friend said this to me before when we were in our second year, "huh? you still use ICQ ah? now everybody is using MSN leh." What.....go be a MSN spokeslady then. I was using both, wasn't me even more power? anyway, it's 100% MSN for me now.... =P

Looking at my list....wah....i dun even know who is who liao, have to open the user info before i can recall only SOME. And these are some of the "some" on my un-updated contact list...

Got our Weiquan as Mr_Cow...
my brother as Kaiser (forever same name, boring...)...
Jianzhang as Jz :: hangzhi (another one...)...
Viv as Puppy (so sweet wor)...
Zhimian as Radical Dreamer...
Peilin as Xeon...
liling as orange...
Pig pig as old ginseng...
Weilin as....(this is a tough one...*faint*) tILdA...and
Caiting as Tino.

What's best? One of pig pig's and my common friends has this nick --> "God Plz Let me Die!!". He really is 100 years never never ever change.

What's even bester best? No one is online for ICQ. At least my MSN has 12 小猫 online.

and me? my nick is/was (it is still my nick, but i nv use ICQ liao...so is is or was...ang moh is really mafan) Felinophobia....

Sunday, December 03, 2006

yah...this is not going to be a PJ's blog though it seems like it is...dun make me look like i'm very eng, can keep blogging k.

Weilin, your pics a bit 少loh...don't look like India leh. I have some too....Brunei! I didn't really go around Brunei 'cos I have to stay at the place where I have to work (Empire Hotel). But i get to walk around a bit at Empire Hotel.

This hotel is super good...not that I wanna advertise for them...it's a 6 stars hotel with great services (best I've ever experience), huge room with cable TV. They have so many swimming pools, one with sandy bottom somemore. And best is....it is so cheap leh! The room rate is around the same as Singapore Carlton Hotel, very cheap for a 6 star hotel. But the breakfast not very tasty.... Anyway...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This is the hotel main blocks. They have quite a few blocks and we can travel around on free mini bus or the small vehicle used at golf course...dunno what's that called...hee... But it's fun lah, more windy, felt like I was in Mandai Zoo.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The huge room. This is just <50% of the entire room.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The toilet...also <50%.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
And there's a balcony.....

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
....for this view..... a bit covered ah, cannot see much.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The conference venue. See the gold gold parts on the pillar....the locals said those are actually gold foil leh. Wah seh.....they are so RICH

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The South China Sea. Got Phuket or Hawaii feel not...got right! There's even a tiny island in the middle of the sea. Blue sea blue sky...the pic turns out quite nice even with my lousy photography skill (with the shadow and slanted horizon....pai seh lah k)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
One of the pools

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Another pool....nice!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
the sandy bottom pool. If I'm not wrong, this is the one with seawater....yup this is part of the sea. Finally ppl can swim safely in sea...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The conference. I went there to work...gentle reminder....

The hotel really not bad right....can consider going there if one day we become tai-tais. Even not 100% tai-tai oso can go, cheap and convenient.

跳tone a bit, Peilin...你唱"千年之恋"很不错喔!kekeke...
