Visit HK/Tilda...买东西,吃东西
Nothing interesting in life and work for the last few months...nothing much to complain or share with, so did not blog for a while. Partly also...sian liao leh....the gian to blog is not that strong liao. Anyway, just post some pictures for you all to see k...picture speak a thousand words, confirm better than my cmi Singlish.
After a long 5 months wait, we finally made it to HK to visit Tilda!! Tilda is super busy...always have visitors and still screaming say she is lonely.

wah seh...2 groups of visitors - me + lynette and andrea.
Tilda is super season now with HK life. Knows where to go, speaks cantonese (not like the last HK trip I went with her...speakang moh through out) and walks damn fast.
Me and Lynette stayed in Prudential Hotel, the same hotel as me and Tilda did around 5 years ago. Renovated liao...super comfy with good location. Recommended la!
Transportation

Their MRT (or rather MTR) dun look as nice as ours but super "friendly" leh. Got LED blinking to show direction and destination, and also has news flash to entertain the boarded travelers.

This is in their MTR station!! Cute wor...

HK also has LTR! But their LTR has driver and station/vehicle dun seems as new as their MTR.

Tram! Very local leh! Thanks for Tilda...
Food
I really enjoy eating in HK leh. HK should be a makan trip for me rather than shopping trip.

First meal in HK...

Looks tempting, but so-so only. And their "面线" is actually our "粗米粉"!

Hot pot a.k.a steamboat. The soup is super duper shiok. All the soup we tried in HK are very nice...

Spagetti House in HK. They have many branches in HK so I thought their food is nice...but.....

HK 腊味 is very famous de...and it is really quite good. Just a little too meaty for me. Maybe Lynette quite enjoy it...haaa! Her salty lemon tea is very unique though.

The very famous and very expensive 龟苓膏 from 海天堂. HKD 50...not cheap k!! But it is really good loh....'cos the first bite can already feel 透心凉. It is really cool throughout, not like drink cold water that kind.

Little 大排挡 in Yuen Lang. Recommended by Tilda. Apparently this little 大排挡 is quite famous 'cos I read it in a book just last week.

Another famous place recommended by Tilda. Also read it in the book last week. I read a lot k....haaa! Anyway, i was surprised to see this type of place in Central 'cos the impression of Central is like our Shenton so it should be filled by well-furnished eatery for all executives working in the skyscappers. This place is much smaller....think probably only the size of my living room without the dining section. Have to queue for a while....but is worth it de la!
Wong Tai Sin Temple

代言人 with 当地的特产 (风铃)

Dunno what special occasion it is, quite crowded. But that's not the point...
The point is....the flats around the temple....

Very crowded and each unit is so tiny....tsk tsk tsk....
Repulse Bay
We super tourist 的. Though went HK 5 times liao, I still visit almost all places where tourist should go.

Houses for the rich people... 靠山面水, good 风水!

Zoom in and we can see the house where Jackie Chan used to stay. Not the whole house, only the top storey.

All crowd around the entrance...

'Cos the 财神 is there. There's a queue...waiting to touch the 财神.

长寿桥
Side note: Went to a seminar today. One of the speakers highlighted that an article in ST in 2007 shows that average life span of Singaporean women is around 82 and average life span of Singaporean men is 78. Though everyone lives longer now, statistics show that the old people suffered from illness (including mental illness) for an average of 8 years before they pass away. So, to reduce the suffering of oneself and the loved ones, "advanced medical directive" is an alternative. Read more about it here.

super long life....

toy-car-look-alike....almost every passerby takes picture with it.
Aberdeen

So tempting...maybe should try here next time

At first saw all the yachts...seems like a rich men port
but actually Aberdeen is a "village" for boat people...The people here lives and sleeps on the boat lah.

Ngong Ping
Go ngong ping of course must take the 360 degree cable car. The whole ride is almost 30min...quite shiok and really got thing to see k.

wah right.... I didn't climb up though...too tiring liao. Can only think of Novotel Citygate.

Although the Ngong Ping village looks fake, the hilly part of HK + the big Buddha actually look quite nice.

Novotel citygate! 101% excited to go there, came back with 101% disappointment.... discounted branded stuff are still too ex lah!
Victoria Peak
Everytime I go HK, sure go to Victoria Peak somehow....no matter is going with friends or customers....seems like go HK cannot go Victoria Peak like that.

HK air really a bit jia lat....

Anyhow take also can take the sun till so nice....and my dear bro still say my camera is lousy.
Go Victoria Peak of course must go Madam Tussand for photo taking session. But my photos nothing exciting lah...must match my image. If is my bro ah, tsk tsk tsk....later upload the china trip pic then you can see how many poses he can strike.
Just some 经典人物...

Bruce Lee is worthless there liao.... People without ticket can also take pic with him.

Jay Chou....一点都不像. I thought he was 路人甲 standing at one corner.

This one looks alike right! No Jennifer Aniston though...

He looks short on TV, but actually he's quite tall wor....at least have 180cm

派场几大一下...

Looks so real...

好心人士扶老公公

Like looking into the camera

I like this one! With the formula somemore...

甜蜜蜜...

Johnny Depp looks fierce

Liu xiang is also another super tall one...

This one lagi worse... I cant even tip top and touch his elbow when taking pic with him.

Sweaty Beckham wor....

Thought the backdrop is very nice....

Looks like Madonna mah? 我跟她不熟....

"傻姑"
Avenue of Star

Really need to repeat myself...HK air really very bad....all hazy wor

Bruce Lee is not so worthless afterall.....he is the only actor with statue on the whole Avenue of Star

Like director not...holding 道具 to take pic somemore, very pro k!

Super retro!

Many hand prints along the path for ppl to step on.....ermmm....

A hiao po tourist taking pic...hee

香港金像奖 statue maybe can act as lamp post also....

The moon on 元宵. 据说 the moon is the fullest in 32 years.
