Austria

Ok...i'm super slow... Went Austria in Feb, now then do this posting. Super bz lately....work cum study at the same time is NO JOKE. Somemore my job is irregular hours. Sometimes i see my timing and lecture notes i wanna cry. But ok lah...just one year. Let me shun shun get through this one year then everything will be fine.

Anyway, back to Austria. I went to Salzburg, it's a nice little old town where they filmed Sound of the Music. Had high expectation before going 'cos you know...."Sound of the Music" is so "wow". But maybe is because too high expectation liao, it was a little disappointing when reached there. Maybe also because I only stayed around the town area. I basically spent 4 hours to finish all the tourist spots, by foot, walking super duper slowwwww. Really. Very, very slow... Still can spend only 4 hours finish everything. Power me.

Went Salzburg at night. At T3. Didn''t really like this new terminal...maybe haven really got used to it. The ceiling and green wall cum waterfall aren't that fasinating. But there's cable TV there with LOTZ of sofa which is very good 'cos T1 and T2 chairs very hard, sit liao butt pain type.


Girls, remember don't wear mini skirts at T3 hor...

By the time I reach Salzburg via Frankfurt, it's already early morning there. And my hotel, which suppose to be a very good one, looks so wulooooo

And they have only 1 English channel which is CNN and I everyday listen to Obama news...and also Edison's news. 他红了. 芝芝也红上加红了. Digress oops..... Lotsa complain but actually the hotel service is real good lah, so overall i don't mind staying there again

no flower, wat kinda garden is this. so...i spent only maybe 15min here.

their main river, which i oso can't rem the name. anyway, my hotel is the one with a white colour "U" design...wulu right!!! but good location lah

"Dom" = cathedral. dunno why they cover the Mother Mary leh...maybe protecting it from the cold weather?


Always amazed by how the interior of cathedral looks like. See....so much details.

I think the designer even considered how the sunlights and internal lighting can come together nicely. 厉害 leh...


Crown near the top of the cathedral. by right photos taken from certain angle can see the "crowning" of Mother Mary (can see the crown the the top of the "pyramid in my previous x 3 photo). but the Mother Mary all sealed out, so i can't be bothered to try....can't see very clearly with the casting around Mother Mary anyway.

Salzburg is an old town, so they have no clock

Dunno what this is called, just thought it look nice with all the horses. But it overall gives ppl a spooky feel


probably 'cos of the tunnel beside it. anyway i uses this tunnel almost everyday, very safe...nothing one.
