飞天 by HCJC in 1999 SYF CO Competition. My bro is the Timpani player. Only has him after the last 2 min.

Seh? Like sister like brother...of course wu seh lah ^_^


Unfortunately, his school lost to Duman High and got only 2nd place. This is DHS's 天山盛会.

But considering it is a JC CO with less experience people and less practise chances than secondary schools, not bad already.

Our NY and my Chung Cheng of course nowhere to stand in 1999. NY only took part in 小组 competition and not the whole orchestra. CCHMS got gold, but not top 3. But still manage to find quite a few Chung Cheng orchestra performances on You Tube.

Nodame Cantabile 交响情人梦

My friend introduced this jap drama to me when we were in Japan. It is based on a comic and the whole show was filmed almost exactly like the comic.


See the anime version...funny!

It is about a group of musically talented students specializing different instruments and how they came together to form a symphony orchestra and achieving their dreams.

Takenaka Nato as Franz Stresemann . Chiaki's teacher. Super funny character.

Watch it if you have the chance. Confirm won't regret!

My friend's friend said Yokohama is a nice place so we went....

How can we miss Mt Fuji when we are in Tokyo? So we went to Hakone where it is famous for hot spring and Mt. Fuji.

We went to an open air art museum in Hakone.

So, we spent one day at Hakone but it was too cloudy to see Mt. Fuji and we did not try the hot spring 'cos I treasure every inch of my skin =P

Odaiba is a self-sufficient city on reclaimed land. We also spent one whole day here...at least more interesting than Yokohama.

Shinjuku has red light district. Can see 黑道 guys standing around, negro holding piles of cards (i guess those are girls' photos), and small shops which I heard guys can go in and choose the girls they want based on their photos. The shops look colourful and cute...thought we can take neoprint in there and I almost went in...heng ah!
