It really has been my greatest fortune to have started out my teaching career in Nanyang JC. I had wonderful mentors who have become my close friends. I had beautiful students who have blossomed into mature and enterprising adults.

7 years?!? 原来我这么老了.... Saw him at City Link last month and he look the same, in fact younger. I thought he's still in his 20s. So exercising, running marathon and singing (he was in charge of choir mah...) keeps one young.

Anyway, they have a 30th Anniversary Homecoming on 31 March leh! Wanna go wanna go??? Dunno got free gift not.... Hey! that's not the point.... We long time nv go back liao...Remember the dayz when we kenna scolded by principal for not singing national athem, sweating away when Maths tutor gave out our test paper according to marks, kenna caught by Mr. Lim for skipping lecture, watching "energizer rabbit" run around the track, kicking and kenna kicked at the butt in LT, collecting 1 cent coins...

Oops, 我(们)真的老了.

Hong Kong

Just came back from HK this early morning 00:09am. It's not even 24 hours and i'm already giving 独家报道. I'm such a nice friend yah....


My room at Wan Chai. HK is having some kinda mega exhibition now so all the hotels on Hong Kong Island are fully booked. I managed to get this, but it's super duper ex. It costs my company SGD800 per night and I stay there until I very stress. Somemore it is not a 6* Ritz Carlton Hotel type. Nothing special about the room. As you can see....it only has 2 more pillows per bed, that's it.....and this oso...


Quite nice view of the Habour. Ok, probably that's why it's expensive. But I must say their service is very good.

The white huge building is the Convention & Exhibition Centre. It's in the shape of turtle, like it's swimming into the sea....it's feng shui again...

And I thought I can have some fresh air there.....but it's more hazy over there, just no smell. The locals said the smoke comes from China factories....tsk tsk tsk

Anyway, I din go there to have fun. I went for work so it was booorrrrrriiiinnnnnggggggggg

HK street early morning. It is not like this on a Sunday afternoon. The crowd on the street is the same as the underground passageway from Wisma to Taka on Sunday.


HK has many this kinda tree. We call them (actually is just me, sorrie) 须须树. Caught a HK policeman in the pic, see how he walk with pride...woohoo!


HK celebrates Halloween! Interesting right... The decor of the cafe, shopping malls...all are about Halloween. And Watson sells lotsa Halloween candies like eyeballs...

Death Note is also new in HK and it fit into the Halloween mood perfectly. Scary looking Devil..

Had dessert at 满记. Heard this shop is famous in HK. Yup yup yup, the disgusting black colour dessert is for disgusting me. 芝麻糊花生汤圆. It's superb k....very smooth and not too sweet.


And this one really ultimate. LS and me were trying to figure out wat is 士多啤梨. Give up right....it is actually referring to Strawberry. Faint ahhhhh....

One of the best things about travelling is that I get to watch free movies on the plan. This time, I watched Click (and realise I really like Adam Sandler leh!), The Devil Wears Prada and The Lake House

Click is about this guy who has a remote control which can fast forward his life so he does not need to go through things he dun enjoy like boring dinners, arguments and nagging. But at the same time, he missed out a lot precious moments of his life.

The movie reminded me that me this poor soul did not balance my work and life. It's not just about working long hours. Even when I'm at home, I did not spend time with family. My parents used to bring me out every Sunday when I was young....so I should do the same now right. Spend some quality time, not quantity.

The Devil Wears Prada. I know nothing about branded stuff, so I can't really appreciate it. Just this guy in the show said "You are not trying hard in your work; You are only whinning". Why somehow i felt like he is the ang moh Sadako, climbing out of the inflight screen and scolding me. Think i really 中毒太深

Last, The Lake House. Lame show! Luckily I din spend $$ watching it.

好臭的中秋节.

Just finished watching a jap drama called Satorare (http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Satorare). Satorare is a person with the ability to let people hear his/her thoughts. Amazing right... But this ability can't be controlled, so Satorare has no privacy at all. And Satorare does not know about the special ability 'cos if he/she find out, Satorare will probably be scared of mixing with other people and even commit suicide...so he/she is protected by an organization.

End of the show, Satorare discovered about this uniqueness of himself and tried to escape to a 无人岛. It's really very traumatising... But too many friends stopped him 'cos they were touched by his 纯真的 thoughts too often.

Think really must have a 单纯的心 before Satorare is liked by others. If is me, I probably already kenna condemned. I scold too much vulgar secretly when i'm working. Sales is a 烂卖笑 job, so i have to curse and swear a bit to balance myself. Like finding excuse for myself right.....but it's true k! i think i'm going to develop split personality soon...

I would rather have the ability to hear people's thought....muaahhhaaaa...I wanted this since i'm super young. Hopefully a fairy godmother will come to me on Christmas night and gimme this special power. MUAHHAA!
