《新年篇》I finally finished all the DVDs at 2am this morning!!! Yea~ 好有满足感! muahhaaa....This year is my most eng Chinese New Year...which is good, i dun really like Chinese New Year anyway. It's a pretentious and fattening and heaty festival with all the fake smiles and bak gua and peanuts. Meeting people who are related to you but only meet at most once a year is weird and terrible. The only nice thing about it is public holiday and playing with the kids. Ang pao....is not nice, just important 'cos it's $$....hoo! Some FAQ for CNY:1. "Studying now?"2. "Working now?"3. "Study where?"4. "Work at where?"5. "Study what?"6. "Work as what?"7. "When are you graduating?"
8. "When did you start working?"FAA (frequently answered answer) for CNY:"wah...so fast hor. Time really flies."Actually time flies only when we are happy or busy right, so in a way you are very 幸福 if you think the time is flying.Crap. Terrible me. Complaining on 初三 of our year.OEI!!!!!!! when are we meeting? for steamboat again? i need a nice dose of friendship before i *doo dooooo dooo dooo dooooooooo* (my mama said we cannot say anything unauspicious during CNY). Ah pig's birthday coming in 31 days by the way.Need to go back to work tomorrow....sian ah!!----------------------------------------------------------《电影篇》Just watched I Not Stupid Too. it's touching and i can see many people crying, but i thought the first one (I Not Stupid) was better 'cos i could relate it better to myself. I was 幸福 enough to not seeing my own shadow in this I Not Stupid Too. 要幸福哦!

《科技篇》
Jialat jialat!! I can't make up my mind which camera to buy.
First there's Casio Ex-S500. Looks good. Slim...i like. Anti shake --> Very important. But it needs a docking bay to charge and transfer pics.... Ok nvm, tried it at a shop...the pics shown on its LCD screen is pretty yucky compared to Canon Ixus 55.
So there's Canon Ixus 55. Night shots look ok. Zoom...3x, normal. The design doesn't look pretty, but this doesn't matter to me. I like the video recording, the image and sound are clear. Portrait shots....chaaaam, the flash causes grey corners in the picture (there's a technical term for this...but dunno what it is). And the battery price is almost double of Casio battery. Worse, I read from internet and heard from friends that Canon camera has lense error problem. Anti shake...practically none --> How can i do without anti shake when I'm born with shaky hands?!
Then my friend recommended Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX9. The CNET review seems alright. The anti shake is quite good i heard. But dunno how reliable Panasoic is for digital camera.
And my senior in my office, he told me, "Listen to me. Don't waste your money on this kind of point and shoot camera. The quality of pictures is lousy." Of course lah... he uses those super pro analogue camera.
Another colleague said, "You can't possibly get good night shots with this kinda camera. You need a tripod. A mini tripod doesn't cost much anyway. And the anti-shake feature bo yong one lah....just like those discman DSP, lame feature."
I just want a camera that can zoom well, take decent night shots, good anti shake, easy to carry around, uses SD card, can last me at least a few years....is it really that tough??

But i only like watching those happy ending shows...maybe i should find out how did Stairway to Heaven end first.

Kenna sabo by colleague. She lent me her Love Story in Harvard DVD and I am SO SO SO addicted now. I actually gave up TV shows for this....oh man! Somemore 金来元 (the guy in 红豆女之恋....another good Korean drama) acted in it *drool drool*.......Oops...muz maintain my demure image. And the girl...wah seh....pretty wor. *drool drool drool drool....uh oh....flooded*
Somebody save me....i can only eat, sleep, go toilet and watch DVD now...and nothing else....
Off track a bit: My friend drew this during our msn conversation (long time ago...not now 'cos i'm bz watching DVD ONLY). I assume is me.....since when i have grey hair?!?!? But quite cute right.
it's weekend again
Yiipeee~Watched Memoir of Geisha. Forget about patriotism, racism, whatever -ism...it is quite a nice show with 3 great actress! And that male lead ah...a bit got the uncle charisma wor. Hoo...Then bought a CD on impulse. Alamak. But no regret, it's a good CD. Uniquely from That CD Shop. Going to play in my Seng Kang bedroom and read Dan Brown book at the same time. Shiok!Out of guilt, went home to do my accounting. Heng....haven't really overspend this month. But better double check with internet banking..... 吓到 leh!! $$ super low in both account....going to kenna fine liao. Panic panic...red alert!! Checked my accounting, think back...suddenly remember: orh....company owes me money. Xia mi?! Owes me so much?! Actually not really a lot to a company...but a lot to me. Finance....please chop chop gimme my claims....Friend: how life? 忙吗?..........Like someone grabbed me and shook me hard. Went back to reality. Wat CD wat movie. I dun have life k. I only work and work and work. My office is my home. My laptop is my pillow. Pantry is the kitchen.Coming thursday has an important presentation on ALL our products in Singapore. XIA MI?!?!?!? Why must gimme this kinda shock on friday..................................... Tomorrow has to buy New Year stuff with mother so left sunday to prepare. Weekend burn liao!! Then monday has conference call. And fiscal year ending, I have 8 targets not yet met for appraisal. Worst, I had a bad haircut. 1) at kbox with my colleague and alas!
Wah.
2) at my Seng Kang new house collecting mails for ex-owner. I can imagine where my new bed will be placed. Excited me.
Then went Compasspoint......it's going to be shopping shopping shopping for me soon! Now both my mum and I are excited. Hoo!
3) watching the news. Low-wage workers get workfare bonus and someone said "oh, election must be coming." (.........)
4) singing karaok at home. Yes...it's FOC!! 'cos starhub cable tv has Karaok TV preview from 13th till 16th 6pm.

5) reading Da Vinci Code. I actually finish this thick book in 3 days. It's an interesting book. Recommended!
6) reading my colleague's email. She sent me a movie release schedule for the whole of 2006 in Singapore! I can now ask my secretary (ok lah, that's my organiser...can't I just fantasy for 1 sec) to take note.... May is going to be the best movie month with Mission Impossible 3, Da Vinci Code by Tom Hanks and X-Men 3! Woohoo!!! Then there's going to be Superman Returns, Pirates of the Carribean 2 (meaning Channel 5 is going to show Pirates of Carribean soon....yea) and there's James Bond (Casino Royale)! Have to chop chop save $$ liao....
Btw, anyone interested in the Jap movie "Blood and Bone"? It's ending soon but no one is BT enough to accompany me to such BT show.
